TSA statement on second COVID-19 case at FLL Airport

“TSA confirms that a second Transportation Security Officer who works at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. The officer who tested positive is resting at home, screening checkpoints remain open, and the agency is working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Florida Department of Health, Broward County office to monitor the situation as well as the health and safety of our employees and the traveling public.”
