DALLAS, TEXAS – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) recognized the agency’s highest performers and teams of 2020 during its annual awards ceremony. The national awards recognize teams and individuals who maintain the highest standards of conduct, are dedicated professionals, acting with conviction and honesty.
Additionally, recognitions were awarded to individuals and teams that have served as a positive force in identifying, crafting, promoting, and implementing creative solutions that significantly impact TSA operations locally or across the enterprise. Awardees demonstrate a sophisticated knowledge and implementation of new tools, pilot studies, stakeholder collaboration, and other innovative resources available to TSA employees.
“I am honored to work with the dedicated men and women of TSA at DFW Airport,” said TSA Federal Security Director Kriste Jordan Smith. “2020 marks the highest number of individual and team award winners. These dedicated professionals sought solutions as COVID-19 escalated, identified new and successful ways to communicate with the traveling public, partnered closely with industry, and demonstrated a commitment to innovation.”
