PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is holding a one-day recruitment event on Jan. 30, to assist individuals interested in applying for a job as a TSA officer at Plattsburgh International and/or Adirondack Regional Airports.

The session is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon on Jan. 30, at OneWorkSource Center, 194 U.S. Oval, Plattsburgh, NY 12903.
During the hiring event, TSA officials will discuss the duties of a TSA officer and explain the application process. They will also provide an overview of working for the federal government and discuss benefits, which include paid leave and health, dental and vision benefits, federal retirement benefits, matching 401K and satisfaction in knowing you are performing a mission that is critical to our national security.
Candidates must be 18 years or older, have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent security experience, and be a U.S. citizen or national. Applicants are required to have two valid forms of state or federal identification.
