Brian C. Belcher
Brian Belcher is currently the Executive Assistant Administrator (EAA)/Director for the Law Enforcement/Federal Air Marshal Service (LE/FAMS), for the Transportation Security Administration. Most recently, he served as the Deputy Executive Assistant Administrator (DEAA)/Deputy Director for the Law Enforcement/Federal Air Marshal Service from July 2022 to December 2023. During his tenure with TSA, he has established partnerships with federal, state and local law enforcement leaders in support of the TSA enterprise and mission.
During his career with the TSA, he has held many leadership roles to include, the Executive Director of LE/FAMS Flight Programs, Regional Director of LE/FAMS Field Operations Supervisory Air Marshal in Charge (SAC) of the Washington and Cincinnati Field Offices, SAC of the Transportation Security Operations Center and SAC of the Flight Programs Division. Mr. Belcher has spent over 30 years working in aviation security and began his career as a Federal Air Marshal with the Federal Aviation Administration.
Prior to LE/FAMS, Mr. Belcher worked as the Deputy Director for Law Enforcement for TSA. In this position, he oversaw the development of rules and regulations for the implementation of security measures on private charters, and the increase in baseline security requirements for airports and air carriers.
Mr. Belcher holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Security Administration from the University of New Haven in Connecticut.
