Dina Thompson is the Assistant Administrator for Contracting and Procurement (C&P). C&P is dedicated to acquiring superior technologies, goods, and services to further TSA’s mission.

As TSA’s Head of the Contracting Activity and senior procurement official, Thompson provides executive leadership and technical expertise on matters involving procurements and other transactional agreements. She is responsible for establishing and implementing comprehensive procurement strategies, which have agency wide impact.

Prior to joining TSA in December 2018, Thompson spent 28 years in the U.S. Army, serving in various civilian, acquisition and leadership positions.

Thompson is a Certified Professional Contract Manager, an American Council for Technology-Industry Advisory (ACT-IAC) fellow and serves on the National Contract Management Association Board of Advisors. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Averett University and a Master of Science in contract management from the Naval Postgraduate School.
