Mr. Krulish (John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) Supervisory TSA Officer Frank Krulish) called my cell on Father’s Day. The first time he called, (since I did not recognize his number), I did not answer. He persisted and called again, and this time I picked up the call.
He was calling to inform me that he had found my lost wallet. He found a receipt inside the wallet with my cell number. I had accidentally dropped my wallet at the Herald Square subway stop five days earlier and thought I would never see it again. He reported that it was turned in at Terminal 1 at JFK. We could only guess that a kind tourist picked up my wallet and turned it in to TSA upon departing.
The wallet was then handed into a supervisor who gave it to Officer Krulish. All $765 in the wallet was intact when I picked it up at lost and found on June 28th. The call made for a very nice Father’s Day present and is a testimony to the integrity of the TSA personnel who handled my wallet.
A special thanks to Officer Krulish for his diligence in locating me.
