To the TSA Management Team

I want to commend Lead TSA Officer Kellie D. Robeson on an exceptional level of service when I went through Chicago O’Hare recently.

The service I had was a superb experience making my way through security with an oversized package. It was an original piece of art that had a lot of significance to me, and I had been cleared by the airlines to bring it aboard. Unfortunately, it didn’t fit in the scanning machines. She, along with a colleague, quickly pulled me aside after I explained what the issue was and took me to another scanner that was not open to travelers. This way I was not holding up the other travelers behind me.

She quickly assessed the issue, asked my permission to take the artwork out the box and wrapping, and was then able to run it through the scanner.

After it cleared security, she showed up out of nowhere  with tape and scissors and helped me repack it. She was very fast and very efficient and was extremely professional and pleasant through the entire process. I was very impressed with her ability to think on her feet and come up with alternate solutions to the problem rather than just turning me away. I could tell she was a great problem solver.

What could’ve been a very awkward situation turned into one of the most pleasant experiences that I’ve ever had in

traveling. I wanted to make sure that she was recognized for this service. She is the type of Officer that you want to keep. Give her a raise!

If I had my business in Chicago, I would’ve offered her a job. She was that good.

Thank you for your time.
