To Whom It May Concern
I want to shout out TSA Officer Nancy Aquino at Boston International Logan Airport.
I am a sexual assault survivor and was flagged for a pat down today. TSA Officer Aquino was OUTSTANDING. She explained what she was going to do, in what order, and why with patience, kindness and respect. She asked if I wanted a private room pat down and made me feel safe and comfortable. I've never had a pat down before and it could've been a potentially triggering event but because of her incredible professionalism, communication, and sensitivity, it was a nonevent.
Thank you for training your officers to treat everyone this way because so many of us unfortunately have life events like these in our history. It made a huge difference in my day/travel experience and I am grateful.
