FORT WORTH – The Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) Federal Air Marshal Service (FAMS) is holding a recruitment event in the Dallas / Fort Worth metroplex during the 2024 CrossFit Games to fill entry-level Federal Air Marshal positions nationwide.
The Federal Air Marshal Service will have a booth at the CrossFit Games to engage with attendees and athletes interested in becoming a Federal Air Marshal. This four-day recruitment and outreach event will provide interested attendees with an opportunity to receive information about the FAMS mission, speak with Federal Air Marshals about their role, and ask questions about the hiring process.
Applicants must be a U.S. or naturalized citizen between the age of 21 and 36, and have a valid driver’s license, a minimum of three years of work experience, and a bachelor’s degree or higher. A combination of education and experience is also considered. Veterans may receive a waiver I allowing for employment after the age of 36 if they are hired prior to their 40th birthday. Applicants must pass a pre-employment background check, polygraph, medical evaluation and a physical fitness assessment.
The starting annual salary range for entry-level Federal Air Marshals is $59,319-$77,112 with the addition of locality pay. Locality pay for the Dallas / Fort Worth metroplex is 24.98%.
