MADISON – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is hosting a series of hiring events to assist individuals interested in applying for a job as a Transportation Security Officer (TSO) at airports throughout the state.
Events will be held:
- Thursday, Jan. 20, 12 p.m.-6 p.m. at TSA’s Administrative Offices, 1402 Pankratz St., Suite 150, Madison, WI 53704. Click here to register.
- Tuesday, Jan. 25, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. at TSA Administrative Offices, W6390 Challenger Drive, Appleton, WI 54914. (Conference room located in baggage area.) Click here to register.
- Thursday, Jan. 27, 1 p.m.-6 p.m. at TSA Administrative Offices, 100 CWA Drive, Mosinee, WI 54455. Click here to register.
- Tuesday, Feb. 1, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. at Austin Straubel International Airport Main Terminal, 2077 Airport Dr. 2nd Floor, Green Bay, WI, 54313. (Follow signs to second floor.)
Attendees will receive information about full-time and part-time TSO positions and have the opportunity to complete multiple steps of the hiring process. The event includes a presentation about the TSO role, application assistance, and scheduling of computer-based testing for job seekers. Participants will be able to complete all or part of these processes, which will significantly reduce the time required to get on board with TSA.
As part of the presentation sessions during the event, TSA will provide an overview of working for the federal government and discuss benefits, which include paid leave, health care plans, 401k coverage and more.
Candidates are required to have two valid forms of state or federal identification, and masks are required.
