I would like to send a compliment to your TSA Officer Tim Groves. He got assigned to my family at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) through TSA Cares.
We were flying out of Austin with my 16-year-old son with Autism. TSO Groves was amazing! He was very calm and friendly while still being professional. My son needed to not be overstimulated, and Officer Groves helped achieve that. He got my family of four checked through security and to our own line, so my son did not have to be rushed. Officer Groves explained every step that was going to happen to help us through with my son.
Please make sure Officer Groves is commended and this is placed in his employee file. We are very satisfied with our TSA Cares service at AUS thanks to Officer Groves.

Editor’s note: Since receiving this passenger compliment, Officer Groves (a former U.S. Air Force serviceman) announced that he had been accepted into the U.S. Navy Aviation Cadet Training program and would soon be leaving to start his naval aviator training.
