DO bring that home baked pie. Yeah, the one that took three tries to perfect! Go ahead and carry it on. Just make sure to place in a bin for X-ray screening.
DON’T carry on an oversized bottle of your mom’s favorite fragrance. Check in liquids over 3.4 oz. instead.
DO bring those flowers. Just make sure they aren’t in water. May we suggest a damp paper towel and plastic wrap?
DON’T carry on any wrapped gifts. If it alarms, TSA officers will need to unwrap it. Avoid the paper cuts, and go for gift bags instead. And don’t forget the card!
